Shareholders Upset About Lack of Gender #Diversity? Yes !

Are investors in UK plc still waiting for permission to speak out on gender diversity in the boardroom?


To be fair, there have been a few ructions - and a lot of cheerleading by the UK Business Secretary, Vince Cable, but even so - it feels as if it is a potentially dangerous ie slightly 'taboo' subject.

Lord Davies Diversifies Chime Communications plc Board

As luck would have it, my long scheduled interview last week with Lord Davies turned out to have perfect timing.


At the end he imparted some news regarding very welcome changes to the board of Chime, the media plc of which he is chairman. It was maligned in this blog quite recently for having no women on its board despite having Lord Davies - a public champion of women - as chairman.
